AI usage and governance
Shadow AI is the use of AI tools outside an organization's approved processes. We start by finding what is in use, including AI features enabled inside software you already approved. We then prepare plain-language rules, an approved-tools list, and a way to request new tools. The goal is a usable path for adoption, not a ban that pushes usage out of sight.
Timeline agreed with scope. Fixed price agreed before work starts.
What you receive
- An inventory of the AI tools already in use, and the data going into them
- A review of AI features already enabled inside your existing software
- A consolidation option where personal subscriptions cover the same need
- A plain-language AI acceptable-use policy
- An approved-tools list and a process for requesting new tools
- A rollout plan with named owners and a review schedule
Scope and limits
We agree the teams, tools, and policy documents in scope. Your organization approves the policy and tool list. Technical enforcement, ongoing monitoring, and legal review are separate work.
When this is not the right engagement
If you need continuous tool discovery, technical blocking, or round-the-clock monitoring, this inventory and policy engagement is not a replacement for those services.
