AI proof of concept
We build and evaluate a prototype for one use case in up to six weeks, using agreed data and success criteria. You receive the code, documentation, evaluation results, and a recommendation on next steps.
Up to six weeks. Fixed price agreed before work starts.
What you receive
- A use case chosen for value and feasibility, with success criteria agreed up front
- A working proof of concept on your data, tested against those criteria
- Source code, setup notes, and documented limitations
- Documented security, privacy, and AI-use requirements, reviewed from the first week
- Notes on architecture and running cost, and a recommendation on whether and how to take it further
Scope and limits
Production deployment requires a separate scope and agreement.
When this is not the right engagement
If you need a production service with operational support from day one, a proof of concept is not the right deliverable. Production work needs its own scope, responsibilities, and acceptance checks.
What happens during the proof of concept.
Scope, price, and success criteria are agreed before work begins. The engagement takes up to six weeks.
Week 1 · Define
Confirm the use case, evaluation criteria, and data access.
Weeks 2–4 · Build
Develop the proof of concept using the agreed tools and data.
Week 5 · Evaluate
Test against the criteria and review security, privacy, and limitations.
Week 6 · Hand over
Deliver the code, documentation, running-cost notes, and recommendation on next steps.
